§ 74-168. Enforcement.

(a)

Any person violating any provision of this article shall be tried before the magistrate court of the county. The procedure for enforcement of this article shall be as provided in O.C.G.A. §§ 15-10-60—15-10-66.

(b)

Upon conviction, a violation of this article may be punished as provided in section 1-13.

(c)

All law enforcement agencies, officers and officials of the county or any enforcement agency or officer of the state is authorized, empowered and directed to enforce compliance with this article. The county board of health is authorized to enter at any reasonable time any premises as may be necessary for the enforcement and administration of this article.

(d)

The City of Hartwell is given the authority to enforce its sewer use ordinance regarding the pretreatment of industrial wastewater and sludge as it applies to users of the city system located in the unincorporated areas of the county.
